Clothing Requirements: avoid a clothing penalty SkillsUSA attire: - Red SkillsUSA blazer, windbreaker or sweater, or black or red SkillsUSA jacket. - Button-up, collared, white dress shirt (accompanied by a plain, solid black tie), white blouse (collarless or small collard) or white turtleneck, with any collar to not extend to the lapel area of the blazer, sweater, windbreaker or jacket. - Black dress slacks or black dress skirt (knee-length) Wearing socks or hose is no longer required. Contest Overview: Project (1000 points) Each team will be composed of two (2) student members, one specializing in Radio and the other in Audio Production. Aside from interviews, these should be the ONLY two voices “On-Air.” The contestants will record, mix and edit a Radio Production consisting of one 60 second Infomercial applicable to online streaming about SkillsUSA and the following theme “No Limits”, a 2-minute Radio story that focusses on one of the Vocational Trades in today’s competition, its importance and behind-the-scene insight to the trade, and a 30 second Commercial spot that is applicable to Broadcast Radio, and the topic will be shared on contest day. Students will be interviewed during their project presentation.
