2025–2026 SkillsUSA Massachusetts Advisors’ Handbook Chapter 3: SkillsUSA Massachusetts Operations • 44 History 2022 The 2022 State Leadership & Skills Conference was offered as an in person series of events on April 14, April 29 and May 13. The award ceremony honored all 2022 award winners, celebrated the experiences of 2021-2022 and honored the 2021-2022 state executive council. During the week of June 20-25, 2022 SkillsUSA Massachusetts participated in the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference was filled with many opportunities for members to showcase their talents and skills. Team Massachusetts captured 62 National Medals in 37 contests, including 21 gold, 27 silver and 14 bronze. Additionally, our team captured 99 SkillPoint Proficiency Certificates, 7 Career Essentials Credential Medals, 15 Presidents Volunteer Service Awards: with 2 Chapter Awards and 13 Individaul Awards. Hunter Claflin, a student at Blackstone Valley was elected to the position of National Parliamentarian, making him our twenty-first National Officer from Massachusetts. 2023 The 2023 State Leadership & Skills Conference was offered as an in person series of events on April 27, 28 & 29. The award ceremony honored all award winners, celebrated the experiences of 2022-2023 and honored the 2022-2023 state executive council. During the week of June 19-24, 2023 SkillsUSA Massachusetts participated in the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference was filled with many opportunities for members to showcase their talents and skills. Team Massachusetts captured 30 GOLD medals, 10 silver, 8 bronze, Models of Excellence Grand Champions (Lynn Tech) and a new National Officer. Kayla Mathieu, a student at Southeastern RTHS was elected to the position of National HS Treasurer, making her our twenty-second National Officer from Massachusetts. 2024 The 2024 State Leadership & Skills Conference was held on April 25, 26 & 27. The award ceremony honored all award winners, celebrated the experiences of 2023-2024 SkillsUSA year and honored the 2023-2024 state executive council. During the week of June 24-29, 2024 SkillsUSA Massachusetts participated in the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference was filled with many opportunities for members to showcase their talents and skills. Team Massachusetts captured 21 GOLD medals, 11 silver, 7 bronze, Models of Excellence Grand Champions (Greater Lowell Technical HS) and elected a new National Officer. Kallie Allen, a student at Blackstone Valley RTHS was elected to the position of National HS President, making her our twenty-third National Officer from Massachusetts. 2025 The 2025 State Leadership & Skills Conference was held on May 1, 2 & 3. The award ceremony honored all award winners, celebrated the experiences of 2024-2025 SkillsUSA year and honored the 2024-2025 state executive council. During the week of June 23-27, 2025 SkillsUSA Massachusetts participated in the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference was filled with many opportunities for members to showcase their talents and skills. Team Massachusetts captured 20 GOLD medals, 10 silver, 15 bronze, Models of Excellence Grand Champions and elected a new National Officer. Logan Rebello, a student at Taunton High School was elected to the posi- tion of National Region 1 Vice President, making him our twenty-fourth National Officer from Massachusetts.
